Episode 80

Lucy Aitkenread | "We exist in a school free paradigm"

Published on: 19th June, 2020

This week I explore the concept of life without school with author, educator and activist Lucy Aitkenread.

We talk about the GAME CHANGING parenting concept of Sites of Mutual Fulfilment and why we absolutely HAVE to put ourselves first and chase those endorphins as parents.

We also discuss privilege within home education and how to make those spaces safe for marginalised folk.

** please note that we recorded this prior to the deaths of George Floyd, Belly Mujinja and Breanna Taylor (amongst others) so don't discuss it/the Black Lives Matter protests **

It's a brilliant episode and I hope you enjoy it!
